Nature of this platform

Commodities.tz is an independent commodity intelligence and sourcing information platform. It is not a government body, a licensed trading platform, a broker, or a party to any transaction between buyers and suppliers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current validity of any market price, supplier record, or third-party information referenced on this network, though we make a good-faith effort to source and date everything clearly — see our Methodology.

No professional advice

Content in our Trade section reflects our understanding of general export/import practice and publicly available regulatory information at the time of publication (see each guide's "Last reviewed" date). It is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal, customs, tax, or trade-compliance advice. Always confirm current requirements with the relevant authority or a qualified professional before acting.

Requests for quotes (RFQs)

Submitting an RFQ through this platform does not create a contract between you and Commodities.tz or any supplier. Any resulting transaction is solely between the buyer and supplier concerned; we are not a party to it and accept no liability for its outcome.

Markets.tz marketplace (listings, quotations, messaging)

The same principle applies to Markets.tz: creating a company profile, publishing a listing, submitting or responding to a quotation, and messaging another user through the marketplace do not make Commodities.tz a party to any resulting transaction. We do not guarantee any seller, buyer, listing, or quotation, and we do not provide escrow, payment processing, customs brokerage, or any other transaction-execution service — the marketplace facilitates discovery and communication between businesses, who are solely responsible for verifying each other and for the terms of any deal between them. Company claiming and any "Verified" status shown are described in our Methodology and do not constitute a guarantee of a company's solvency, product quality, or performance.

Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false information, attempt to compromise the security of this platform, or scrape or republish our supplier directory or market data at scale without permission.
